Brief Description

The Oktoberfest Sprint Triathlon, come celebrate another great triathlon season at this late season race. The event takes place at the Union Reservoir in Longmont, Colorado, just a short drive from Denver, Boulder, or Ft. Collins. USAT Sanctionng

The Oktoberfest Sprint Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be an annual member of USA Triathlon, or purchase a one-day license for $10.00. Please visit www.usatriathlon.org for more information.

Swim: 750 meters Bike: 12.4 miles Run: 3.1 miles

Results & Timing

The Oktoberfest Sprint Triathlon will be chip-timed with the AMB ChipX system. All participants will receive a timing chip on the morning of the event during body marking. A photo ID must be presented to receive your chip. Results with splits will be posted throughout the event, and on the race website on the evening of the race.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
