Brief Description

KLY Triathlon takes place at the Kauai Marriott Resort. Race consists of two distances: sprint and international. Swim is in Kalapaki Bay. Bike ride is a out and back fronting Nawiliwili Harbor to Menehune fishpond to Kipu and return. Run takes place on Marriott/ Kauai Lagoons. Sprint 750 m swim, 20k bike (1 loop) and 5 k run. International: 1.5 k swim 40 k bike (2 loops) 10 k run

Additional Information

The KLY Triathlon is a fundraiser to benefit Swim Kauai Aquatics swim program based at the YMCA Ohana Pool in Lihue. SKA is dedicated to teaching swimming skills to keiki and is a member of USA swimming. SKA has resurrected this beloved event of the 1990's and added an Olympic distance element to challenge Hawaii's mutisport athletes. Relays are accepted. Early registration ends April 24. All registration is online. No race day registration accepted.
