Brief Description

Join us for a very special weekend of swimming, cycling and running. The Women Only Super Sprint Triathlon at Alum Creek State Park is the ideal setting for the program. Enjoy your adventure!

Welcome to the races.

We are very excited about our latest addition to the 2013 TriTech Olympic and Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon weekend of racing. As the title suggests, the Womens Super Sprint Triathlon is designed for todays active woman interested in health and wellness. You'll enjoy meeting new faces and seeing new places. Best of all, proceeds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

USA Triathlon Sanctioned Event

This event is proud to be sanctioned by USA-Triathlon. All participants must be current USAT members or apply for a one day license (included in your entry fee)

Triathlon/Duathlon Distances

Swim 1/4 mile Bike 13 miles Run 2 miles

Entry Fee Notice

There are two entry fee catagories. One is for current USA Triathlon members and the other is for non members. Non members will pay an additional $12 that we forward to the United States Triathlon Federation (USAT). This is a one day fee. If you would like to be an annual member of USAT contact them at the following address: membership@usatriathlon.org

Goody Bags

All participants will receive a high quality technical race shirt, EAS nutrition product, swim cap, bike frame number, race number, post race food and beverage. ALL FINISHERS RECEIVE A GREAT LOOKING COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL WITH RIBBON.

Where

Alum Creek State Park located about 10 miles north of Columbus on Lewis Center Road. The easiest way to get to Alum Creek State Park from downtown Columbus is to take I-71 north to the 270. Go west (left) on 270 and exit on route 23 (north). Go about 6-7 miles and look for the Alum Creek State Park sign (Lewis Center Road). Take a right at Lewis Center and follow the signs.

Packet pick-up

Advanced packet pick-up is at TriTech Multi-Sport located at 6185 N Huntley Road during the following dates and times: 6/18-6/20 M W F (11-7pm) T T (11-5pm) Saturday 11-6pm Race day pick-up and late registration is at Alum Creek beginning at 6:30am.

Directions to TriTech MultiSport

From Columbus take I-71 north about 10 miles and exit (left) at Route 161 (Dublin Granville Road). Go about 1/2 mile and go right at Huntley Road. TriTech is in the Wothington Commerce Center at 6185 N Huntley Rd about 1/2 mile on the left. 614-846-1516.

Awards-Triathlon/Duathlon

“ All age group athletes must participate and compete in the age group division corresponding to the athlete’s age on December 31 of the year for the event”. Age Group: Top 3-5 (16-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. Athena: Top 3 Relays: Top 3 GREAT LOOKING MEDALS TO ALL FINISHERS

Relay Teams (Mail in only)

Each relay team member must complete a copy of the on-line entry form available on the UltraFit website. Please send them together in the same envelope (waivers need to be signed by each member) to UltraFit, PO Box 629, Hilliard, Ohio 43206.

Relay Team packet pick-up notice

Each relay team member is responsible for picking up their own packet. Bring photo ID.

Photo ID Required

USAT requires that all participants present a photo ID before race packets are issued. Please bring it with you when you go to Tri-Tech or on race day.
