Brief Description

The second oldest IRONMAN in North America and one of the most popular events in the sport. A unique course with the transition and finish line located on the Olympic Speed skating Oval, a beautiful swim in Mirror Lake, a challenging bike through the Adirondacks, and an equally challenging run. IRONMAN Lake Placid will serve as one of the worldwide qualifying events for the 2013 Ironman World Championship in Kona, HI.

Withdraw/Refund Policy

Withdrawal requests must be received in writing via E-mail to lakeplacid@ironman.com. Without exception, all requests must be received on or before June 14, 2013 to be eligible for a partial refund of $150.00 USD. Transfers or deferments are NOT permitted.

USA Triathlon will sanction 2013 IRONMAN Lake Placid. To complete the registration process, athletes will need photo identification and must show proof of current USAT membership or purchase a one-day license ($12.00 USD) during online registration.
