Brief Description

The first major triathlon of the year in the Spring Break mecca of Lake Havasu City. Start the season in Lake Havasu and enjoy a great spring vacation in Lake Havasu! Oly (1500m/40k/10k) and sprint distances (500m/20k/5k) offered. Collegiate athletes looking for the best of both worlds - triathlon and spring break - come to Havasu for the Mountain States Triathlon Conference Championships! Youth triathletes get special low entry fees.

Spring Break in Havasu is a busy time with lots of people enjoying the 80 degree weather and all that Lake Havasu City has to offer. Make sure to enter early and make your hotel reservations so you don't miss out on the Havasu Triathlon 2010.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
