Directions

Take Hwy 84 to Exit 258. Follow road to Adams Street and turn right on 4th. Follow 4th until "C" Avenue. Turn right and proceed to Walnut. Turn left and follow Morgan Lake road to Morgan Lake.

The Course

The Solstice Triathlon is part of the XTERRA America Tour. The off-road event will begin with a 1K swim at 4100 ft. The water is COLD. Wet/dry suits are recommended as are neoprene hats and earplugs. The 25-30K mountain bike and 10K run terrain are fire roads, trails, mud, rocks and beautiful scenery. The course is challenging, difficult and not for the inexperienced. Whiners not allowed. Join us for a great day.

T-Shirts and Registration Packet Pick-ups

T-shirts and registration packets may be picked up at 2311 East L Ave., Friday, June 18 from 3- 6 p.m.

Pre-Race Spaghetti Feed:

A spaghetti feed will be held Friday night, June 18th, 6-7:30 p.m.for XTERRA athletes. It will be at 2311 East L Ave., and will cost $5. To get there, find Safeway on Adams, head towards the RR tracks, cross them, and turn right. Big blue house on the left. Hope you will be able to join us.

Barbeque

A barbeque will follow the event. Prizes will then be awarded for the Overall Men’s, Women’s and Team and Age Group winners. Door prizes will be drawn throughout festivities – must be present to win!!

Awards

Awards for the top overall men and women as well as the top age category winners will be given. Overall winners will not receive awards for age group. Drawings for all participants will also be offered.

5 Year Award

A 5 year Solstice Triathlon Mug will be awarded to those individuals who are completing their 5th year of competition here in La Grande. Those individuals will tell you that this XTERRA is one of the most unique and the best events on the circuit and is well worth the grunts!
