Your Participation Supports Newspaper in Education

The KPC Newspaper In Education Triathlon is a non-profit fundraiser to support the NIE program in northeast Indiana schools. You can learn more about NIE and how it helps kids at the race website, www.kpctriathlon.com.

Team registration:

Each team member registers separately. Be prepared to state your team name and the names of your team member(s) as they will register.

Early Registration & Pricing

Early Bird pricing applies through midnight June 23. We will do our best, but because the T-shirts are individually hand-screen print, the T-Shirts are not guaranteed after early registration. There is no race-day registration. There are no refunds after May 30.

Chip Timing

Timing by Race Services Company LLC includes ChronoTrack timing at two splits and the finish line. Splits and final results will be available promptly at the event and available online at www.kpctriathlon.com after the race.

Prizes

Participants will receive a T-Shirt (as noted, T-shirt is not guaranteed after the end of early registration). Each finisher receives an ice-cold Sport towel. Individuals and each team will receive a Shoe/sport tote. Prizes awarded: Male & Female overall; Masters; Division winners to 3rd place (5 year intervals) and Male & Female Split Winners. Special awards: first Team and first Teacher Team.

Youth Division

Youth between the age of 15 and 17 may compete in the Youth Division. A parent or guardian must sign the online registration waiver, and the parent or guardian must also be present with the Youth at Race Day Registration, with valid ID.

Youth and Age Divisions

Age is determined as of December 31 of this year.

Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up starts Friday, July 13, at Joanna’s Dealicious Treats coffee/ soda shop at the southeast corner of Main and Williams, Kendallville 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and race day starting at 5:30 a.m. Volunteers will be present Friday to complete body marking. You must have photo ID. USAT members must have USAT card. Parents or guardians must accompany Youth and both must have photo ID. Racers receiving body marking on Friday should have no lotion, etc. on their skin.

Pictures

A photographer will be shooting photos of each racer; the photos will be available for purchase at a small fee starting Monday after the race, at www.kpctriathlon.com.
