Brief Description

Unique Olympic Distance Triathlon. Scenic course: single loop 1.5K ocean swim in Keauhou Bay; a challenging 40K bike ride up Kamehameha III Road, out the famed Queen Kaahumanu Highway, looping back through the village of Kailua-Kona and back along Alii Drive; next a unique & scenic multi-terrain run through Keauhou, the Sheraton Keauhou, and fairways of Kona Country Club, finishing on the ocean front lawns of the Keauhou Beach Resort where you can relax and enjoy

Course Description

Olympic Distance Triathlon at the beautiful Keauhou Beach Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii Swim - 1.5 K single loop course in Keauhou Bay Bike - Challenging bike course up Kamehameha III Road to famous Queen Kaahumanu Highway out to OTEC Turn-Around and back through the center of town on Alii Drive to the Keauhou Beach Resort. Run - 10K scenic run with combination of terrain including: road, gravel, golf course & beach trail finishing on the ocean front lawn of the Keauhou Beach Hotel.

REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 400 INDIVIDUALS AND 25 RELAY TEAMS!!! ONCE THIS THRESHOLD IS REACHED, ALL ADDITIONAL NEW ENTRIES WILL REQUIRE AN ADDTIONAL $100 CHARITY DONATION SUBMITTED WITH ENTRY FEE TO ONE OF THE LAVAMAN CHOSEN NON-PROFITS.
