Brief Description

This is a perfect first triathlon for the beginning triathlete! Swim course (400 meters) Open water point-to-point swim in Boone Lake, with swimmers starting in waves. The swim will follow right along the shore line in shallow water. Bike course (10 miles) 1 loop on city roads through rolling hills with views of the lake. Run course (2 miles) The run will mostly be across grass fields with short stretches of paved path.

Sanctioning

Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
