John Curley, Evening Magazine anchor, and Mary Meyer host this incredible tri series to help northwest kids, adults and families get fit!

The Get Out There and Tri series includes the Sammamish Splash kids Tri encouraging children to get outside, move, and have fun!

Our triathlon series is uniquely geared towards creating a positive, healthy environment for all, from the everyday person, the overweight, the armchair athlete and athletic to take pride in themselves and embrace the spirit of trying something new.

Course Description:
The Sammamish Splash Kids Tri provides a safe, fun environment for all children to improve their health while having fun and boosting their confidence.

Each age group will have their own distance to complete, which is a point to point swim. They will get their bike from transition and ride within the Sunset Beach parking (that will be closed to vehicular traffic). After completing the specified number of loops, the run will go south of the transition area to the designated turn points for each age group.

Helmets must be worn at ALL times when on the bike (regardless of before, during or after the event). No parents are allowed in the transition area. We have adult volunteers to help your children. PLEASE make certain your child’s bike is in good running order, is sized to your child, NO BIG WHEELS ALLOWED
