Brief Description

The 3rd Annual Panther Pride Triathlon will take place in Iowa Falls, IA on Saturday August 11, 2012. The event will consist of an indoor 300 yard Swim, 15 mile Bike & 3.3 mile Run. The swim and transition area will be outside the state of the art Dale Howard Family Activity Center. You can compete as an individual or as a member of a relay team.

The Bike Course: http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/28344458 The Run Course: http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/28344866 PACKET PICKUP: Packets with BIB's, T-shirts, Chips and maps should be picked up in the lobby of the Dale Howard Family Activity Center from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday August 10. The Dale Howard Family Activity Center is located at: 1021 River St, Iowa Falls, IA 50126. Please make every attempt to get your packet on Friday because there will be limited time available for packet pickup on Saturday Morning. There are no refunds or transfers for any reason.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
