Description

SUPERFROG is the original half-ironman. Born in 1979 (one year after Hawaii) it was designed to allow SEALs to prepare for the Hawaii Ironman. It consists of a 1.2 mile ocean swim, a blazing fast 56 mile bike leg on the Silver Strand, and a scenic run on and along the beach in Coronado, CA. The new run course, which still utilizes some soft sand, is much faster than previous editions.

Event schedule and times

The SUPERFROG Expo/ packet pick-up will take place on September 29th from 10:30am to 3:30 at the race site. Race day is Sunday September 30th. The race will start promptly at 7:00am.
