Brief Description

The Tantalus Time Trial is oldest running bicycle race in Hawaii. Racers will climb approximately 1,400 feet as they ascend the windy 4.5 mile route to the top.

Check-in

Check-in will begin at 6:00 AM on Sunday, April 4, 2010. All racers are required to check-in and receive a race number prior to racing.

Eligibility

A USA Cycling (USAC) license is required for all riders. Riders who do not have an annual license may purchase one at http://www.usacycling.org. A $10.00 one-day USAC license will be available for purchase at check-in. All racers must complete and sign a USAC waiver. All USAC rules apply (sleeveless jerseys not allowed).

Late Registration

Regular registration closes on March 21, 2010 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (NOT HAWAII TIME). Anyone registering after this time may not receive a t-shirt.

Additional Information

The race starts on Makiki Heights Drive approximately 100 meters before the first hairpin turn. Racers will climb to Tantalus Drive, turn right, and climb to the parking lot at the top of the hill (Just before Tantalus turns into Round Top Drive).
