Description
Houston Oaks Tru Tri will be held on September 15, 2013. Tru Tri Sports is pleased sponsor this event for a second year in a row! The event will be held at Houston Oaks Country Club, which is located 30 minutes west of Houston, in a nestled country backdrop. The morning will start off with a 500 meter, out and back, open water swim in one of the many beautiful lakes at Houston Oaks Country Club with a beach exit, followed by a 21 mile rolling hills bike ride through Hockley, TX and you will finish the triathlon with a beautiful 5K run on a multi-surface run course, covered by the shady oaks of Houston Oaks Country Club. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Juvinille Diabetes Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Research.

Thursday, September 12th from 12-7pm
Friday, September 13th from 12-7pm
Saturday, September 14th from 10-6pm
There will be no packet pick up on race day. If you have questions or concerns, or driving in from out of town and need assistance with packet pick please email Tiffany Johnson at Tjohnson@trutrisports.com.
Event schedule and times
5:45 - 6:45 am: Body Marking and Transition is Open
6:00-7:00 am: Warm up pool will be open for athletes
7:00 am: Race begins, wave starts every 5 minutes
8:30 am: Post -race party
9:30 am: Raffel Drawing & Awards for Overall Finishers, Top 1-3 in AG, Athena, Clydesdale and Relay Teams (Male, Female & Mixed)
