Event History

The USAT Sanctioned Tri for Real Olympic-distance Triathlon was added to our TRI for FUN Sprint Triathlon Series in 2003 to make the events a full weekend of Multisport. In 2007 we added the three TRI for KIDS races for athletes aged 4 to 14 years old on the same day as the Tri for Real events.

2012 Race Features

The TRI for REAL Series is USAT Sanctioned for 2012, and held at Rancho Seco Park in Herald, California. The course has a 1.5 k swim - 40 k bike - 10 k run. The Series dates for the three races are: June 3, July 8, and August 5, 2012. Series Awards, including a Free entry into the 2013 Tri for Real Series, will be presented to the top male and female racing all three events in each age group. Included for each athlete is custom tech-tee race shirt, an XTERRA swim cap, athlete goody bag, hot post race meal, free athlete massage and free parking.
