Brief Description

Not heading to St. George on May 1st? Stay in the valley and save some gas and about $500 in registration fees! Sunset Racing's team of professionals, have put together a National Speed Tri Series that will allow you to compare your pace with those competitors that race in other Speed Tri cities. This is a 1st Class event that will keep you coming back year after year!

USAT Sanctioned Event

This is a USAT sanctioned event. All USAT rules will be followed. You must either be a USAT annual member, or purchase a one day license for ten dollars at packet pick up. The ten dollars is NOT included in your entry fee. If you are a USAT member you must bring your membership card with you to packet pick up, no exceptions. Additional Information

The Lake Las Vegas Speed Tri is for everyone! It will also be a SW Regional Youth Series Event. Special categories for ages 19 and under, (13-15, 16-19). These races are utilized to encourage a youth friendly atmosphere in order to open the door to the youth and future of the sport. The USAT SW Region will have a point series with updated divisional rankings throughout the year. Each event winner will receive an award provided by the USAT SW Region.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
