Brief Description

It's NOT Your Grandma's Century!...Our 2nd Annual SABA Century Bicycle Ride will be held rain or shine on Saturday, May 19, 2011. All three routes start and stop at the new Clay County Courthouse in Hayesville, North Carolina. The SABA Century features 3 distinct routes that encompass the best of the beautiful rolling & hilly terrain of Western North Carolina and North Georgia.

Start & Finish

Beautiful Hayesville, North Carolina is located just 2 hours North of Atlanta GA, 2 hours East of Chattanooga TN, and 2 hours west of Asheville NC. Last year's event was a huge success and we had many positive comments. You'll also get a chance to ride with Saul Raisin, former professional cyclist and traumatic brain injury survivor.

Special Guest

Come out and ride with Saul Raisin, former professional cyclist and brain injury survivor. A portion of the events proceed will go to the Raisin Hope Foundation help those affected by traumatic brain injury. In addition, Saul will be on hand for a book signing and a fundraising dinner. Saul's book "Tour de Life" chronicles his comeback from a traumatic brain injury caused by a cycling accident. Read more at TourdeLife.org

Special Event

Fundraising Dinner, Speech & Book Signing with Saul Raisin - Friday, May 18, 2012 at 6:30 PM. Saul will be on hand to have dinner with us & talk about his "Tour de Life." Saul's book will be available for purchase, & he will personally autograph each copy! Bring your friends and family, tickets to the dinner are $20 per person and can be added on to your event registration or purchased separately. The casual attire, dinner will be held at Moschetto's Continental Cafe in Young Harris, GA. (BYOB)
