Description
The XTERRA Real Mountain Bike Triathlon is part of the 2013 XTERRA America Tour. The race will be USAT Sanctioned, requiring the purchase of a $12 one-day license with USAT, or the holding of an annual membership card with USAT.
Race with the Best of the West at the TBF XTERRA Real Mountain Bike Triathlon as part of the 2013 XTERRA America Tour. Included with your race entry is a custom tech-tee race shirt, athlete goody bag, post race hot meal, raffle prizes and awards five-deep in each age group.
The race starts with a half-mile swim in Folsom Lake, water temperature around 58 degrees. Wetsuits are permitted for all athletes. The 16-mile bike course on single track trails around the lake is two loops with mixed terrain of single track, downhills, climbs, sand, and packed decomposed granite. The 3.5-mile run has a mix of trails and roads - along with some fun hills.
Relay Teams for The XTERRA Real Mountain Bike Triathlon consist of one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner. Entry fee includes three race shirts, athlete goody bags and post race meals. Awards for Relay Teams will be first overall in Male, Female and Coed divisions.
Awards for the XTERRA REAL MTB Triathlon will be given FIVE-deep in each five-year age group and division (Clydesdale, Athena and Challenged Athlete divisions). Relay Team awards will be for the Top three teams in each Division of Male, Female and Coed.Packet pick-up will be available at the race site on race morning from 7 am to 9 am.

TBF Training will be conducting Mountain Bike Camps that will focus on advancing your riding skills and confidence specifically for the XTERRA Real MTB Triathlon. Each five-hour clinic is only $60 with more information at: www.tbftraining.com.

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week.
