Aquas-$25; Tri-$45 each until 3 weeks prior to each event, then add $10 (+$20 at packet pickup)

Brief Description

Come join us for the 2012 Kid's Series, including the new Kid's Aquathlon, the 6th annual Kid's Triathlon. These events are specially designed for kid’s ages 7-15. The events all offer unique opportunities for family members, volunteers, and sponsors to encourage physical activity and establish a lifelong healthy foundation for kids.

USAT Sanctioned

These are USA Triathlon Sanctioned events. Parents must show their child's current/active Annual USAT Youth Membership card at packet pick-up in order to receive the race packet. It is highly encouraged that an Annual Membership be purchased for $15 if your child(ren) will participate in all three events of the Kid's Series. If your child is not an Annual Member, a 1-day Youth License must be purchased either online during registration, or at packet pick-up for $10. - No Exceptions.

Juniors: 100m Swim->1k Run
Seniors: 200m Swim->2k Run

Triathlon 07/21/12

Juniors: 100m Swim->5k Bike->1k Run
Seniors: 200m Swim->10k Bike->2k Run

Aquathlon#2 08/18/12

Juniors: 250m Run->100m Swim->1k Run
Seniors: 500m Run->200m Swim->2k Run

Additional Information

Awards for 1st through 3rd place are presented to each Boy's and Girl's age group divisions. Also, each participant will receive a custom finisher's ribbon or medal.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
