Brief Description

Goleta Beach is a fantastic location to hold a Triathlon/Duathlon! The water is flat and the weather is perfect. The swim is located in the protected cove of UCSB Campus Point. The bike route runs along the foothills with great views of Goleta, Santa Barbara, and the Channel Islands. The run is through and around the Park, along the beach, and under the pier and back. You'll have plenty of opportunities to see where your competition and friends are on the run course along the way.

Additional Information

The Olympic, Duathlon, & Sprint courses are flat & easy, therefore very fast, but please slow down and enjoy the view!

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
