Brief Description

The BlasterBlast Triathlon is a sprint distance triathlon organized by the Colorado School of Mines swimming and diving team. All proceeds go to the team to fund things such as travel to away meets and training equipment. Route Maps have been posted to the website (http://www.facebook.com/BlasterBlastTriathlon2013) Nestled in the heart of Golden Colorado, the Colorado School of Mines is a great place to hold a triathlon.

Additional Information

The swim will be in the student recreation center, the run is a single loop encircling the beautiful area of central Golden, and the bike will be sufficiently wide to ensure safety and passing ability. We will be conducting the triathlon using a chip timing system in order to obtain instant and accurate results. This triathlon is not USAT sanctioned; however, it does meet the USAT standard distances (750 meter or 800 yard swim; 20 km or 12.5 mile bike; and 5 km or 3.1 mile run).
