Brief Description

The 1st Annual iCAN TRI Youth Triathlon Event for youth ages 6 to 17 will be held at Clovis North Educational Center in Fresno, CA on Sunday, July 22. This is an outstanding venue with challenging courses for each age division. The swim complex has two (2), 50 meter pools. The bike and run courses of varying distances will challenge each athlete of the four (4) age divisions.

AGE 6 - 8 YEARS OLD

Swim 50 meters; Bike 2 miles; Run 0.5 miles

AGE 9 - 12 YEARS OLD

Swim 150 meters; Bike 4 miles; Run 1 mile

AGE 13 - 15 YEARS OLD

Swim 300 meters; Bike 8 miles; Run 2 miles

AGE 16 - 17 YEARS OLD

Swim 500 meters; Bike 10 miles; Run 3 miles

Register early! T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations made by June 22. All other sizes will be on a first come basis.

Additional Information

Finisher medals will be given to each participant crossing the finish line. Individual awards will be presented to the top five (5) finishers in each one-year age from 6 to 17 years as well as overall male and female finishers of each division.

Directions:

Due to Race Day Road Closures, here is the recommended route to Race Site.

From the North:
Take Freeway 99 South to the Avenue 12 Exit.
Travel East on Avenue 12.
Travel South on Highway 41 to Friant Exit.
Travel North on Friant.
Travel East on Shepherd
Travel North on Willow Ave. to International.
Travel West on International.
Prior to Chestnut, turn right into the parking lot on the S/W corner of campus at Chestnut & International. Park here.

From the South:
Take Freeway 99 North to Highway 41 North.
Travel North on Highway 41, take the Friant Exit.
Travel North on Friant.
Travel East on Shepherd.
Travel North on Willow.
Travel West on International.
Prior to Chestnut, turn right into the parking lot on the S/W corner of campus at Chestnut & International. Park here.

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States.
