Brief Description

The swim course will take you into the calm waters of Fort Lauderdale Beach, while the bike course will test your speed as you head north along A1A into Birch State Park: an Island Paradise in the middle of urban Fort Lauderdale. The park contains four distinct natural areas. To conclude, the run course along the boulevard will allow you to feel the breeze as you enjoy the sights of the City’s award-winning wavewall and signature beachfront promenade.

Refund/Withdrawal Policy

There are NO refunds given for the event. Withdrawal requests must be received in writing via E-mail to info@miamitrievents.com Transfers or deferrals are NOT permitted.

2575 Triathlon Age Requirements

15 years of age minimum

USAT

USA Triathlon will sanction 2575 Triathlon Miami. To complete the online registration process, athletes will need to enter their USAT annual license number or purchase a one-day license ($12.00 USD) during online registration. Athletes must bring their photo identification and show proof of current USAT membership during athlete check-in. Otherwise, they will be required to purchase a one day license on-site. USA Triathlon’s Age Group Competition rule

All qualifying events will implement both the International Triathlon Federation and USA Triathlon’s Age Group Competition rule: All age group athletes must compete in the age group division corresponding to the athlete’s age on December 31st of the year of the event.

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
