Brief Description

Great swims -- 5K or 1-mile. Great T-shirt and an enjoyable post-race breakfast on the beach. Enjoy a competitive OW swim, and the rest of the weekend in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Registration and check-in is at Main Beach starting at 7am. Transportation to the race starts will be provided. All swimmers must be registered with USMS or USA-Swimming. Deck registration and one-day event registration available.

Additional Information

2.5-hour time limit for racers to complete either course. Check-in at the course finish is mandatory. Coast Guard Auxiliary boats, kayaks, lifeguards, and Fire Department watercraft will be in the water for the protection of the swimmers. EMTs, police, and lifeguards will also be on the beach to assist swimmers in need. An awards ceremony and breakfast will follow the swims. Awards given to top 5 overall Category I male and female and to top 3 Category I finishers in each age group. Category II swimmers will not be eligible for awards. You will have a good time. No hurricanes or tropical storms allowed. For more information contact one of the event coordinators. This is great charity event, and we hope you can join us.
