Description

USAT State Championship for Arkansas. The Ozark Valley Triathlon is an international distance triathlon comprised of a 1,000 yard swim, 19 mile bike, 4 mile run. The event is held at Lake Wedington Recreation Area just a few minutes from downtown Fayetteville, Arkansas. This U.S. Forest Service park is one of the most natural settings for a triathlon. The swim is held in a very clean and extremely clear lake. The bike course which is held outside the park on smooth to rolling roads with just one intermediate hil. The run is a two-loop course inside the park which is very spectator friendly. The run course is the epic part of the event...get ready for a challenge! There is one transition. Both individual and teams are welcome. A very spectator-friendly event and lots of activities for friends and families.
