Englewood Beach, Shelter 3Manasota Key where Beach Road meets Gulf Blvd. Englewood, FL
Swim is in the Gulf of Mexico-point to point, 400 meters, parallel with the beach. Bike, 13 miles, and Run, 5K, take place on Manasota key, flat and fast. Champion Chip timing by Alta Vista Sports.
From I-75: Take River Road Exit #191 toward Englewood, Left on 776, Right on Beach Road at McDonald's to Englewood Beach. No fees for parking during event but you must pay the meter if staying after event concludes.
Athlete bags and check-in available at Farlow's on the Water on Friday, July 13, from 4 to 6pm. If staying for the Pasta Dinner, you must RSVP with this registration. Race Day pick-up begins at 5:45am at race venue.
All participants must check in on race day for body marking and Champion Chip distribution. Transition area opens at 5:45am and closes at 6:45am. Event begins at 7:00am sharp! There is no "day of" registration for this event.
There will be 4 waves. The first wave will be men under 40, the second will be men 40 and over, the third will be women under 40, and the fourth will be women 40 and over and all relay team swimmers.
Anticipated water temp 83 degrees. No wetsuits permitted. Max time limit for races is 2 hours. Tech tees, goodie bags, pre-race pasta dinner, post-race continental breakfast, live music, prizes and awards. No day of registration! Event max 300!
