Brief Description

This sprint triathlon is a 400meter indoor swim, 20K bike on a flat highway 99 course, and a 5K run through the rolling hills of Emporia

Additional Information

Check in is from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. Prerace instructions begin at 9:00 a.m. and the first swimmer begins shortly after. Awards for the top 3 overall male/female, top male/female Emporia finisher, and age division awards will all follow once results are complete (approx 11:45)

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
