Day of Schedule

Check-in & race day registration opens at 6:30 am. in front of City Hall.
Race start at 8:00 am at the Emery Secondary School's swimming pool.

Fees

Bay Area Students, 18 & under $35, Adults $45. Race day fees add $10.
Fees include commemorative T-shirt, breakfast, and post race Health & Wellness Fair. Fees include, commemorative T-shirt, breakfast and post race Health & Wellness Fair. Participants are also encouraged to bring their friends and family to cheer them on and enjoy the Health Fair.

Course

100 yd SWIM - warm school swimming pool 2.5 mi BIKE - flat ride through Emeryville, 2.1 mi RUN - new course through Bay Street in Emeryville. This race is so short, ANYONE can do it! Emeryville’s ultra sprint triathlon!

Additional Information

Triathlon first-timers, long-timers and few-timers are all invited to participate in the 5th Annual Shortest Triathlon Ever, held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Emeryville—the shortest city ever. This is a perfect event for everyone to knock out their first triathlon of the year or the first triathlon of their life and pick up tips about practicing a healthier lifestyle. (Pre-registration open until April 11th, 11:59 p.m.) This very short triathlon course features: 100-yard Swim: Warm swimming pool, a 2.5-mile Bike: Fast and flat! Ride through the city of Emeryville, made famous by the opening movie scene in Pixar’s The Incredibles. (CPSC approved bike helmets must be worn and buckled.) 2.1-mile Run: Window-shop as you pass by all of the retail shops on Bay Street. The triathlon check-in and race-registration, as well as the finish line and post-race activities will be held in front of Emeryville’s City Hall at 1333 Park Avenue in Emeryville. Registration tables will open at 6:30 a.m. at City Hall, with the race starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Emery Secondary School’s swimming pool.
