Swim ¼ mile in Lake Maxinkuckie - The swim will begin next to the Culver Navel Building and swim out around three large bouys and return to the shore line for transition to the Bike. Bike 12 miles around Lake Maxinkuckie - The Bike will exit the Academy on the east side and head south on 117 to 20B turn west on 20B to South Shore, turn north and follow South Shore to Sycamore and then turn south. Follow Sycamore to 20B, turn east to 117, turn north and return to Culver Campus for transition to the run. Run 3 miles on the Culver Academies Cross Country course - The run will start at the bike coral and run under 117 to Culver Academy Golf course and cross back to the football field with the Woodcraft crossway going around the tenis courts, horse stables and around the Culver flag pole and head to the finish line in front of the Naval building

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States.
