Event History

Welcome to the 33rd Annual SUPERFROG Triathlon, the lomgest running half-ironman event in teh world. SUPERFROG traces its roots to the very beginning of the sport.

Beneficiary

SUPERFROG proceeds go to the Navy SEAL Foundation, Coronado Optimist Club, and Islander Sports Foundation. All are non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations

SUPERFROG Start time: 7:00 a.m.

SUPERFROG DISTANCE

1.2 Mile Swim, 56 Mile Bike, 13.1 Mile Run

SUPERFROG COURSE

The swim is a 1.2 Mile Ocean Swim, followed by a pancake flat 56 mile bike ride, and ending with a flat 13.1 mile run. The run portion will be 50% beach and 50% road surface.

Add $20 to all fees if registering after March 1st and $40 if registering after June 1st

Race Check-In

All race participants must attend the mandatory pre-race check-in on Saturday, Septmber 10th, 2011 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Participants will be required to sign waiver and pick up race materials and any additional information. The expo will be held at the Naval Special Warfare/Advanced Training Command.

If you won't be able to attend the pre-race check in, please choose the VIP or Mail-Back option.

VIP Check In

Can't make it to race check-in? For a fee of $30, your race numbers, waiver, swim cap, and shirt will be ready for your on race day at the VIP check in booth. You will also have a special marked bike race in the transition area.

Mail-Back Option

For a fee of $15, receive your race materials, except for your timing chip, in the mail at least 5 days prior to the race. YOUR TIMING CHIP WILL NOT BE MAILED TO YOU. YOU WILL NEED TO PICK UP YOUR TIMING CHIP ON RACE MORNING AT THE VIP BOOTH! YOU DO NOT need to attend the pre-race check in. You will need to return a signed waiver by mail and pick up your T-shirt at the finish line.

Late Check-In

Those who do not choose the VIP, Mail-back option, or attend the pre-race check in, MUST PAY A LATE CHECK-IN FEE OF $10 ON RACE DAY
