Brief Description

Located just minutes from dowmtown Columbus the Outer Limits Triathlon/Duathlon features a beautiful quarry swim and a scenic run through wooded trails. Great for first timers.

Welcome to the races

Located in the shadow of the downtown Columbus skyline this race is perfectly suited for both triathletes and duathletes. It features a beautiful swim in the clear waters of The Anderson complex and a scenic run through a beautiful tree lined forest. The Outer Limits Triathlon/Duathlon is a great race for both experienced and first time participants.

USA Triathlon sanctioned event

This event is proud to be sanctioned by USA-Triathlon. All participants must be current USAT members or apply for a one day license (included in your entry fee)

Goody Bags

All participants will receive a high quality technical race shirt, swim cap, bike frame number, race number, post race food and beverage.

Awards and Age Groups

Awards will be issued to both triathletes and duathletes in the following catagories. Depth of awards determined by the number of pre-registered athletes one week before the race. NOTE: YOU WILL COMPETE ACCORDING TO YOUR AGE ON 12/31/2011 AND NOT "AGE ON RACE DAY". Age Group: Top 3-5 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. Clydesdale: Top 3 Relays: Top 3 per division.

Directions to the site

Anderson Concrete is located just south of downtown Columbus off Frank Road. Simple drive south on Interstate 71 for about 3-4 miles and exit on FrankRoad. Take a right turn at the first traffic light and drive back underneath I-71. Look for Haul Road about 1/2 mile down the road. Follow parking signs.

Race Packet Pick-up (Picture ID Required)

Tri-Tech Multi-Sport (6185 N Huntley Road) is our official "packet pick-up" headquarters. Remember, bring your USA Triathlon card if you are a current member and a PICTURE ID. Dates: July 5th thru July 7th.

Race Day Registration and Pick-up

Begins at 5:30 am. Correct change is appreciated. Thanks.

Relay Team Captains

Please click the yellow "Create your Team" button and create your team. Once your team has been created please return to this page and click on the green "Register Now" button and register for your team.

Relay Team Members

Please click on the green "Register Now" button to register. On the registration form, select your Team name from the drop down list of teams and continue with your registration. If you do NOT see your teams name in the drop down list please contact your team captain.
