1500M Swim, 40K Bike, 10k Run

Aqua/Velo Category - includes just the swim and bike portion of the triathlon. Olympic distance only.

Fastest USAT Club for the Sprint and Olympic races will be awarded for their dominance

All participants will receive event socks, T-shirt, swim cap, water bottle and more!

Refeshments & Awards

Post-race refreshments provided by Little Caesars Pizza, will be available immediately after you finish at the American Legion Building. Awards presentation will take place at the same location - 12:00pm

Festival Awards

Those who compete in both events will be given an award for completing both events.

Results

The Champion Chip /Timing system will be used to score the race. Results by Kale Enterprises, Inc.. All participants are required to rent or purchase a Chip for use in the race (included in race entry fee). If you own a Chip, please enter your Champion Chip number on registration form. Straps for Chips will be provided to all athletes All chips and straps are to be returned immediately after the race

Directions/Information

Take Rt. 301 to Rt. 205 North. Continue into the town of Colonial Beach (approx. 6 miles). Staging area is on the Colonial Beach Avenue across from the Days Inn (host hotel).

Swim Time Cut-offs

Note to Athletes: Swim Time Cutoff will be enforced in 2010. Sprint athletes must be able to finish the 700 meter swim within 40 minutes of start time, and Olympic athletes must finish the 1500 swim in 1 hour 20 minutes of start time.

Awards

Colonial Beach Triathlon awards will be given to the top three in each required USAT age groups (5 year increments starting with 15-19 years)

Awards will not be mailed. You must be present to pick up your award.

Team Awards: Top 2 teams in each category: Mixed, Male, and Female. The 3-person and 2-person teams are in same grouping

IMPORTANT

No race number transfers – all USAT rules apply to this event!

Note: All Non-USAT Members will be required to sign a USAT Waiver form at packet-pick up. All USAT Members MUST bring photo ID and USAT Registration Card to pick up their race materials – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Entry Deadline is Thursday, July 8th, or 450 Athletes
