Brief Description

A sprint triathlon on the beautiful campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas! The race will feature a 400 meter snake style swim in the state of the art Natatorium, a 12 mile bike course and a 5K run through campus. The event will be held-weather permitting. There are no refunds. As safety is our primary concern, the race director or Texas A&M reserve the right to cancel the event due to inclement weather. Packet Pickup

Packet pickup is Saturday, July 14th from 3 to 6pm at the Hilton Hotel and Conference Center at 801 University Drive East, College Station, Texas 77840

Timeline

Swim start will begin at 7:00am with a time trial start at 10 second intervals. The last swimmer should start no later than 8:30 am and the Swim course will close at 9am. All swimmers must complete swim course by 9am. Traffic control on the Bike course will end at 1030am. No one will start the Run Course after 10:30 am. Race course is closed at 1130am.

Additional Information

Participants must be current USAT members or purchase a USAT annual or single day membership prior to participating in this event. You will be required to enter your USAT number when you register, if you plan on purchasing a single day event pass during our packet pickup, enter 0 for USAT# . Age division is based on participant's age as of 12/31/12.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
