Brief Description

The swim is a two-loop rectangle running counter-clockwise from the west side of the resort in Coeur d’Alene Lake. Athletes will exit the water and run around a marker on the beach before reentering the lake for the second loop. Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene will serve as one of the worldwide qualifying events for the 2010 Ford Ironman World Championship in Kona, HI.

Refund/Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal requests must be received in writing via E-mail to CDA@ironman.com. Without exception, all requests must be received on or before May 22, 2011 to be eligible for a partial refund of $150.00 (USD). Transfers or deferrals are NOT permitted. *Withdrawal policy also applies to the Ironman Foundation Slots*

Ironman Foundation Slots

Slots will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and will each cost $1,150.00 USD, which includes athlete registration and a $575.00 tax-deductible donation to The Ironman Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit organization. One hundred percent of all donations made to The Ironman Foundation, Inc. will be distributed to various local organizations and charities based in Coeur d'Alene. Deferments and/or transfers are NOT permitted.

USAT

USA Triathlon will sanction Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene. To complete the registration process, athletes will need photo identification and must show proof of current USAT membership or purchase a one-day license ($10.00 USD) during online registration. USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
