The Ron Jon Cocoa Beach Triathlon returns for its 4th year bringing together both experienced and noviced athletes for beautiful weather in natural Florida surroundings. The Star Kids Triathlon follows at 9:30am, allowing everyone in the family to participate in the day's events. Participants will enjoy a post race party with live music by the transition area. First time triathletes will be provided with information leading up to the event through email to help with USAT rules, common gear, Championchip timing device, and much more. Experienced triathletes will enjoy an organized event and with a focus on racing and having a good time.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
