ATTENTION - EVENT UPDATE

As of Tuesday, May 6 at 5 PM CST online registration for all Sunday events of the Accenture Chicago Triathlon is closed. You are still able to download a registration form and mail it in - however there is no guarantee that your registration will be accepted. Please allow two weeks to confirm your entry at www.chicagotriathlon.com. Registration for the McDonald's Kids and Fleet Feet SuperSprint as well as the Triple Challenge are still open.

Triple Challenge $275 SuperSprint $55, Kids Individual $50 and Kids Relay $85.

Accenture Chicago Triathlon

The 26th running of the Accenture Chicago Triathlon event takes place at Monroe Harbor on Sunday, August 24th, 2008. It consists of a Sprint Distance - .75K swim, 22K bike and 5K run (Open/Age Group, Mountain Bike) and International Distance - 1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run (Open/Age Group, Clydesdale, Elite Amature, Professional, Open Relay and Corporate Relay). Fleet Feet Supersprint

This event takes place on Saturday, August 23rd at Foster Avenue Beach in Chicago. The distances are half of a sprint distance (375 meter Swim/10K Bike and 2.5 K Run).

McDonalds Kids Triathlon

This event takes place on Saturday, August 23rd at Foster Avenue Beach in Chicago. There is an Open/Age Group Catagory and a Relay Team Competition. You must be between the ages of 7 and 14 to compete in this catagory.

MultiSport Health and Fitness Expo

All participants for the Accenture Chicago Triathlon must attend the Multisport Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, August 22nd or Saturday, August 23rd in order to pick up their race packet, ChampionChip, race bag and short sleeved technical T-shirt. Participants in the McDonald's Kids Triathlon or Fleet Feet SuperSprint Triathlon can pick up their race packet, ChampionChip, race bag and 100% cotton t-shirt at the Expo on Friday, August 22nd or at the race site Saturday morning, August 23rd.

Triple Challenge

Looking for the Ultimate Accenture Chicago Triathlon Experience? Offered again this year, the Triple Challenge offers athletes the chance to race the SuperSprint on Saturday and the Sprint and International Distances on Sunday for one great low price.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
