Brief Description

The Firebird Triathlon is cancelled. Wild Horse Pass Development Authority (WHPDA), who owns the roads across from Firebird International Raceway, and the Gila River Indian Community, has declined our request for a permit to use 3 miles of unused roads for 2 hours on a Sunday Morning despite our uneventful use of the roads for 3 years. WHPDA, who operates the casino, a golf course, a gas station and Rawhide, clearly does not want your entertainment dollars.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States.
