Brief Description

The Caz Tri will include both Sprint & Intermediate Triathlon & Aquabike distances! We will again have a "chip timed" hill climb section on Hoffman Rd. within the bike leg of each race. Cazenovia College will again be offering low cost dorm rooms to our racers this year. Check www.cazenoviatriathlon.org for news and dorm registration info.

Intermediate Tri & Aquabike: 8:00 AM start

Swim 1.5k (.93mi.) lake swim
Bike 40k(24.8mi.)
Run 10k(6.2mi.)

Intermediate Aquabike:
Bike 40k

Sprint Tri & AquaBike: 8:30 AM start

Sprint Tri:
Swim 800 meters (.5 mi) lake swim
Bike 22.5k (14.3 mi)
Run 5k (3.12 mi.)

Directions

From Rt.90 (NYS Thruway) take Exit 34A (Rt 481) to DeWitt Exit (Rt 5). Take Rt 5 to Rt 92 South. Rt 92 to Rt 20 to Rt 13 into Cazenovia, NY. At flashing yellow light make left to Lakeside Park (about 1/2 mile).

USAT Fees
In addition to the entry fee , adult non-USAT members must pay a $10 one day license fee. Youth(15-17) must obtain an annual USAT license via www.usatriathlon.org prior to online registration.

Please Note

The Caz Tri is a USAT sanctioned race. PHOTO IDs ARE REQUIRED for package pickup and waiver signature. Package pickup by other than the race participant is not allowed.

Each race participant must pick up their own race package with a photo ID.

CPSC approved bike helmets are required.

There is no race rain date. Race Management reserves the right to refuse or accept any entry.

Different Rules Regarding age 17 and under:
If not a USAT member, youths must buy a one year membership for $5 at www.usatriathlon.org.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States.
