The Race
The integrated Sprint and Olympic length courses, designed in 2005, will begin and end at Sturges Park. Participants will swim in the fresh waters of Buffalo Lake, bike past up to nine other lakes through the rolling farmland of Wright County and will finish with a run along the shores of Lake Buffalo.
Sprint: 1/4 mile swim, 13 mile bike, 3 mile run
Olympic: 1.5k (.9mile) swim, 40k (24.8 mile) bike, 10k (6.2 mile) run
This race is designed for those who desire to attempt their first triathlon and for those who desire a challenging experience. This is also a great start to the triathlon season for those experienced athletes who are preparing for other races later in the summer.
