Brief Description

The Boulder Triathlon Series is comprised of the 5430 Sprint Triathlon, the Boulder Peak Triathlon, and the Ironman 70.3 Boulder. For more information on the events, please log on to www.bouldertriseries.com

Refund/Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal requests must be received in writing via E-mail to info@bouldertriseries.com. Without exception, all requests must be received on or before May 31, 2010 to be eligible for a partial refund of $100.00 (USD). Athletes will be withdrawn from the entire series. Transfers or deferrals are NOT permitted.

USAT

Boulder Triathlon Series is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. To complete the online registration process, athletes will need to enter their USAT annual license number or purchase a one-day license ($10.00 USD) during online registration. Athletes must bring their photo identification and show proof of current USAT membership during athlete check-in. Otherwise, it will be required to purchase a one day license on-site.

USA Triathlon’s Age Group Competition rule

All qualifying events will implement both the International Triathlon Federation and USA Triathlon’s Age Group Competition rule: All age group athletes must compete in the age group division corresponding to the athlete’s age on December 31st of the year of the event.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
