Brief Description

This 4th annual open water swim hosted by Swim Las Vegas will feature a scenic 8k point to point swim as well as 1.2 mile and 2.4 mile distances for triathletes to fine tune their open water skills. The only race of it's kind in southern Nevada, you'll be able to "Double Down" by entering 2 events back to back!* (*time restrictions apply) All participants must be a member of USMS or pay a $15 one day fee through USMS.

Restrictions:

Wetsuits are allowed in the 1.2 mi, 2.4 mi & Super Slam races, however they are prohibited on the 8k course.

SANCTIONING

Sanctioned by Southern Pacific Masters Swimming for USMS,Inc.

NON USMS MEMBERS

If you are not a member of US Masters Swimming there is an additional fee of $15 for one day insurance coverage.

Grand Slam

Features 2 events back to back: Swim the 8k followed by the 1.2 mile. Participants for this event must be an annual member of USMS, no one day coverage available. *Time limits apply

Super Slam

Features 2 events back to back: Swim the 2.4 mile followed by the 1.2 mile. *Time limits apply.

1.2 & 2.4 Mile Swims

Are held at Boulder Beach, 1 loop or 1/2 loop course 250yds off shore.

8k

Point to point distance swim requiring kayak support. You must be adequately trained for competition. 8k Swimmers must be an annual member of USMS, no one day coverage available. *Time limits apply

YOUTH

This event is also insured for swimmers age 11-17. For the safety of the youth swimmers, parents are allowed to paddle with their swimmers. Please visit our website to register.
