Brief Description

XTERRA Lory is an Off Road Triathlon. The event takes place at Lory State Park just a short drive from Denver, Boulder, or Ft. Collins. The swim will take place in Horsetooth Reservior with the bike & run portions taking place on the trails of Lory State Park. USAT Sanctionng

XTERRA Lory is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be an annual member of USA Triathlon, or purchase a one-day license for $12.00. Please visit www.usatriathlon.org for more information.

Triathlon Distance

Swim: 800 meters Bike: 12 miles (dirt trails including singletrack) Run: 8 K (trail run)

Results & Timing

XTERRA Lory will be chip-timed with the AMB ChipX system. All participants will receive a timing chip on the morning of the event during body marking. A photo ID must be presented to receive your chip. Results with splits will be posted throughout the event, and on the race website on the evening of the race.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
