Brief Description

This Event is SOLD OUT! 2nd Annual DAM Triathlon Distances: 1/2 mi Swim, 12.3 mi bike, 3.2 mi Run Sprint distance, USAT sanctioned triathlon at Lake Gardner in Amesbury, MA. Racers will start at Lake Gardner, swim a counter clockwise rectangle, bike on a beautiful course that takes you through Newton and South Hampton and finish with a run to Woodsom Farm and back. This is a great sprint triathlon!

Packet Pick -Up

You can pick up your packet at the Amphitheater in downtown Amesbury MA: Friday July 8, 2011 from 12pm-7pm. Please bring your -- NO ID,NO RACE!!

Race Start:

The Dam Triathlon will start at 8am- Waves will go out every 3min, so be sure to be in your correct wave. Your colored cap will be in your packet, which will determine your wave start time.

Race Day Parking:

Spots are limited in and around Market Square. Majority of Parking will be at Municipal Lot, and at the Lower Mill Yard.

Charity:

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Amesbury Education Foundation Inc. Any additional donations can be made while signing up on active, follow the fundraiser link. Thank You!!!

Cash Prizes:

To be eligible for the Cash Prizes you must enter the Elite Open Category before race day. If you are an age grouper that decides to race in the E/O category, you will not be eligbile to place in your age group. See damtriathlon.com for more details.

Post Race Activities:

Stick around for an awesome post-race party with music, Ipswich Brewery and Cody Brewing Company. Hang out on the beach and enjoy some food!

Please carefully indicate your e-mail address on the application. A confirmation email with important race information will be sent to all registered athletes.

Race Refunds:

Sorry, no refunds, no exceptions. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL A RACE ENTRANT BE ALLOWED TO TRANSFER, SELL OR SUBSTITUTE ANOTHER ATHLETE AT ANY TIME. The event organizer has the right to shorten or even cancel the event if, in his or her judgment, environmental conditions including weather become dangerous; in this situation no refunds will be given.
