Brief Description

1st Annual DAM Triathlon Distances: 1/2 mi Swim, 12.3 mi bike, 3.2 mi Run Sprint distance, USAT sanctioned triathlon at Lake Gardner in Amesbury, MA. The bike and run courses are flat and will be fast!! Racers will start the triathlon at Lake Gardner, swim a counter clockwise rectangle, bike on the flattest and fastest course in all of Massachusetts!! Thank You! Heat Training and B&S Event Management, past co-organizers of the Powow Triathlon.

Costs

Packet Pick-UP

Amphitheater in downtown Amesbury MA: Friday July 9, 12am-7pm

Course

Sprint distance, USAT sanctioned triathlon at Lake Gardner in Amesbury, MA. Racers will start the triathlon at Lake Gardner, swim a counter clockwise rectangle, bike on the flattest and fastest course in all of Massachusetts!! The course will be open to traffic, but there will be plenty of police and volunteers keeping everyone safe.

Race Start

8am- Waves will go out every 3min.

Parking on Race Day

Spots are limited in and around Market Square. Majority of Parking will be at Municipal Lot, and at the Lower Mill Yard.

Charity Foundation

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Amesbury Education Foundation Inc. Any additional donations can be made while signing up on active, follow the fundraiser link. Thank You!!!

To be eligible for the Cash Prizes you must enter the Elite Open Category before race day!! Race Refunds:

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL A RACE ENTRANT BE ALLOWED TO TRANSFER, SELL OR SUBSTITUTE ANOTHER ATHLETE AT ANY TIME. The event organizer has the right to shorten or even cancel the event if, in his or her judgment, environmental conditions including weather become dangerous; in this situation no refunds will be given.

Sanctioning
