Brief Description

TriLaVie's Triathlon Training Program will prepare you for any triathlon including your Ironman. Team races include Vineman/Barb's and Orangeman, OC International Triathlon, Pacific Coast Sprint and others. It is an excellent training session for the entire 2012 season. You'll get expert coaching in swim, bike, run, and transition as well as stretch and strength. Special topics covered include athlete self-care, nutrition, heart-rate training, bike maintenance and bike handling skills.

TriLaVie is a women's running and triathlon training program in Southern California. We provide professional, personalized coaching for women of all athletic abilities. Our programs include expert advice from nutritionists, health-care providers, sports psychologists and professional athletes. Coaches

Our coaches and professional team of experts will take you on a triathlon adventure! We've guided hundreds of athletes to empowering experiences. TriLaVie programs are informative and entertaining. We teach solid training strategies so your experience is safe, satisfying and fun!

Training Times

Group trainings are offered 3-5 days per week with options for morning and evening times. Each session lasts from 1.5-3 hours. Please see our website at www.TriLaVie.com for program hours and locations.

Locations

We meet at various outdoor locations throughout Southern California that satisfy three (3) criteria: safe, beautiful, race-training specific. Sample locations include Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Tustin, Newport Beach, Irvine, Mission Viejo and Rancho Santa Margarita, Yorba Linda and Dana Point.

Equipment

You'll need the basics: a bike and helmet, running shoes, swim gear including a suit and goggles. You don't need top-of-the-line new-fangled equipment. Beg and borrow for your first tri! Coaches will provide a full equipment list and guide you to shop appropriately. Several local shops offer discounts and benefits to our athletes.

Plan-Specific Programs

Each training session is built around race preparation and experience of athletes. After your initial introduction to the team, coaches will assign you to appropriate training groups based on your skill level in each sport. You will be nurtured & challenged!

Additional Fees

Your registration fee covers all training-related costs including pool fees, gym fees and speakers. New team members receive a TriLaVie training shirt! There is an occasional parking fee at some public locations that averages $2-3. You must pay your own race entries and related travel costs.

Race Goals

TriLaVie training incorporates race goals, but you can train for any event that works for you. TriLaVie Team races include: Pacific Coast in Laguna, Solana Beach, Surf Town, OC International, Malibu, LA, Long Beach and the US Women's Triathlon in Mission Bay!

Additional Programs

TriLaVie includes triathlon, running and swim programs for women and young adults of all fitness levels. We welcome and support beginner athletes. Recognizing that swimming is a challenge for many adults, we specialize in swim programs in pools and open water clinics.

Additional Information

This triathlon training is for women of all fitness levels. You'll train with a group that shares your triathlon experience and athletic ability. Please consult the coach prior to registration to discuss the group that is best for you!

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
