A fun group training program with USAT certified coaches designed to help beginning to advanced athletes gradually build endurance, learn to efficiently swim, bike, and run, and maximize your triathlon race performance. The program is open to all session I participants and other athletes with triathlon experience and approval from Coach Liz. Contact coachliz@tri2bemore.com
The swim will be held at the Columbia Association, The Supreme Sports Club Tuesdays: Advance Swim 5:15-6:30 AM and Beginner swim 6:30-7:30 Bring swimsuit, goggles, cap, blue Zoomer fins (available from Cy's in Catonsville, MD or online)
The bike/run session will be held on Sunday mornings. Approximate start time 7:00 AM or sunrise. We will bike/run outdoors using various routes in Howard County, including Gateway Drive and the various triathlon race courses in Columbia. There will be a few weekends that we will meet on Saturday morning. Bring your bike and bike helmet and other gear for biking and running outside.
Session II is a 7 week training session that builds from Session I. Session II will focus on Building Endurance and Race Preparation while maintaining technical efficiency. Participants of Session I receive a $20.00 discount.
