Brief Description

Training clinics on the Toughman actual race course, led by Toughman staff.

Sat 8/14: Part I Swim/Bike
Sun 8/15: Part II Run

Open Water Swim Clinic

Held on Saturday, this will be at the race site and include citing tips as well as kayak guidance. This will be supervised with lifeguards and coaches. CHECK-IN: 6:45AM

Bike Clinic

Held on Saturday, immediately following the swim clinic (approx 8am), you can ride the actual Toughman Bike course. There will be 3 groups led by Toughman staff, you will be assigned a group based upon your ability. Ride with staff in groups based upon your ability. One Bottle exchange station located at the 18m mark. CLINIC RUNS FROM 8AM-12PM

Run Clinic

Held on Sunday morning, you will do a long run on the Toughman 13.1 mile run course. There will be one water stop with Gatorade and Hammer Shots. There will be 3 groups led by Toughman staff and you will be assigned a group based upon your ability. CHECK-IN: 7:00AM at Croton Point Park.

Age Requirements

You must be 15 years old or older to participate in the Toughman clinic.

USAT CARD REQUIRED

You must have a valid USAT card at the time of the clinic - No registrations will be accepted on training day, and no one-day USAT passes will be offered. You can purchase a one-day pass online now when you register, or enter your member #. If you do not bring your USAT card/USAT 1-Day receipt to the clinic, you will not be allowed to participate.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds.

Additional Information

The course consists of:
SWIM: 1.2 mile swim in a protected area of the Hudson river
BIKE: 56 mile rolling bike course throughout scenic upper Westchester
RUN: 13.1 mile run with some challenging hills in and around the Croton Dam
We will provide cue sheets, water/Gatorade/gu for bike and run.
