Brief Description

Learn how to assess the following:
•Specific ranges of motion and postural abilities required for effective run mechanics
•Minimum support requirements for the run
•Assess starting run frequencies, intensities and durations
•Run fitness tests – the how, why and when
•Run specific activities post swim, bike and run to ensure optimum running

Additional Information

Bobby McGee will go through the processes of determining what the triathlete needs to work on specifically in order to have the best chance of staying injury free in order to train to ability to achieve the best possible run results post T2. He will also suggest specific activities to combat the possible run-limiting effects of swimming and cycling. This CEU session will cover run mechanical requirements, as well as advice on what questions to ask and how to build the triathlete’s run plan from this data. This session will be practical and theoretical, and attendees are encouraged to attend dressed in appropriate workout gear.
