Brief Description

This is a highly focused, intense 3-day camp designed to begin your process of heat acclimatization for Worlds 70.3 in Las Vegas, SOMA 70.3, Ironman Arizona, Ironman 70.3 Austin Texas, or other hot venue racing late in the season. It is also just a great training and learning opportunity! Bill Gleason, USAT Level II Certified Coach, and CSCS, leads a Triathlon Training Camp, Friday 12PM August 3rd to Sunday 8PM August 5th for those racing late season, HOT venue races.

• Fully SAGGED rides, runs, and a brick session • Underwater Video and swim technique analysis individually for each athlete • Three fully coached pool workouts • Video run technique analysis • Two educational presentations on relevant training topics • Special focus on training and racing in the HEAT; Race day preparations, tactics, special fueling and nutrition factors, and education on the physiological risks, counter-measures, and adaptations needed • A nutritional seminar on eating for the health to support training and specific tactics for fueling in the heat. • Lodging for 2 nights in a Desert Resort • Six specially prepared, home cooked meals, with kitchen facilities • Personalized coaching and educational experiences in a small group, focused setting
