From August 23 to August 30 a select 12 to 15 guests who have signed up to attend the week-long Billabong Surf Camp in El Salvador will be surfing with legendary surfer Mike Parsons.

Located at one of the premiere surf points in Central America, the camp offers surfers of all walks of life the chance to surf and be coached by some of our top athletes at an ideal tropical location.

"This trip was by far the best surf trip I have ever experienced", says Californian Gordon Allen, a veteran of many previous surf trips around the world. "The people were great, the accommodations were perfect and the food and staff at Las Flores were excellent. I will definitely be back."

Surfers of all skill levels and ages are welcome and there are still a few spots open in Parsons' week. The waves range from shoulder high to double overhead on the better days; with a Rincon-like point break in front of the resort and a barreling cobblestone point wave a five minute boat ride away.

"I never thought I'd be surfing in a place this good with no crowds," says Ed Pines from Florida. "But we were taking pointers from a total legend--that was like a dream."

The camp provides everybody the chance to get action footage, surf in heats and, best of all, to surf one-on-one with their surf heroes.

"Parsons is amazing," says one surfer. "He is so observant and such a good teacher, he sees things that immediately help your surfing. At the same time he's super humble for a guy who rides 70 foot Cortez Banks so it's easy to learn with him. It's also great to be able to hang out in a really relaxed environment. Plus just watching him surf is worth the price of the trip."

This premiere camp is held at Wave-hunter's top destination in Central America, a low-key secluded three-star resort with great food, air-conditioned rooms and the full view of a reeling set of point waves that begin at the bay right in front of the resort.

"Dan and I surfed three times a day every day (even twice on arrival and departure days) and Ariel (13 years old) was surfing four times a day," said Marcy Martin whose husband Dan hosts Bouyweather in Hawaii. "We got great waves. Even the two smaller days were fun because the waves got really fast around low tide. The locals were very cool to me and Ariel. They seemed to enjoy surfing with us girls. The food was the best, perfect really. The accommodations were outstanding. The staff was great, on top of everything and very approachable. The drinks were cheap. It was truly a great experience."
